Hello my beauties!

Today I will talk to you about a product that I first came across at the Greek Beauty Bloggers Meeting hosted by L'oreal.

They presented us many new products. One of them was L'oreal Youth Code Luminizer.

It is an iridescent, ultra light texture that leaves skin super soft. It is said to "have the code to unify irregular skin tone and re-awaken a more even luminous looking complexion".

As you can see it is very light textured and divine looking. It is not shimmery but more pearlescent. Even applied to my hand you will see how glowy it gets.

I use this before my moisturiser and my skin gets this glow like I am the happiest girl on earth. 

However, now that the weather is getting hotter here in Greece I will avoid using it at mornings as I have a combination skin and the serum tends to give me shine when humid and hot outside. 

But I will continue to use it before my foundation when I go out at night. It gives my skin fresh glow that comes from within.

I have been using it for about a month now and despite I have not seen any long term results, I like having it!

Girls with dry skin will love this. It will give their skin another dimension!

Foundation Brushes

Hello my beauties!

How are you? I hope you had a great time on Easter and have returned refreshed kai relaxed!

I am making a comeback with a hot issue!  Foundation Brushes!

When we all started using makeup, it was quite obvious that we use our fingers for everything! Applying foundation, conceiler, eyeshadows and sometimes even the blush!

Well, the time has passed, many things have changed and we, ourselves, have learned a lot since then.

One of my favourite things that I learned are the foundation brushes. You see them everywhere. They have different handle, different bristles, different shape but at the end, they all have one goal.

Make our face flawless!

Below I present the most popular foundation brushes shapes and my favourite ones.

So here we go!

1. Foundation Brush

This is the classic foundation brush which sometimes is the one you end up using the most. The bristles are firm, they hold the right amount of product and they give coverage with detail. 

They also can be used to apply your moisturiser. 

You can also use it to conceal bigger areas in your face as it is a bigger version of a concealer brush.

2. Flat Top Kabuki Brush

When you see this kind of brush you are confused. You are thinking how can this brush apply a liquid foundation on your face. Well let me tell you, especially to those you haven't used this type of brush yet, that this is my favorite brush EVER! The bristles are flat and dense enough so they can sweep the product on your face. As a result? You get the most even, flawless, beautiful skin you ever had after your foundation!

This brush can also be used to apply cream brush or cream highlighter.

3. Duo Fiber Foundation Brush

This is the foundation brush that I use the least but still is a brilliant brush because it provides a lighweight coverage by applying the product evenly and airbrushed. The bristles are not very dense and half of them are longer and half are shorter. Actually it is a genius brush beacause it has multiple uses. You can apply your liquid foundation, cream blush, highlighter even your powder. But you can also use this brush to blend your makeup to an even finish.

Πρώτα το ανοιξιάτικο βραβείο 

για τις ηλιόλουστες μέρες που έρχονται, για τα πρώτα πέδιλα της σεζόν, το πρώτο παγωτό που θα φάμε για φέτος, τις πολύχρωμες ζακέτες πάνω απο κοντομάνικα μπλουζάκια, για το πρώτο κοκκίνισμα της μύτης μας από τον ανοιξιάτικο ήλιο. Καλή Άνοιξη!

Και δεύτερο το λαχταριστό βραβείο

για όλες εκείνες τις στιγμές που αισθανόμαστε όχι τόσο δυνατοί, για τις στιγμές που θέλουμε ένα σπρώξιμο και για όλες εκείνες τις στιγμές που νιώθουμε να είναι το κερασάκι στη τούρτα!

Sleek Palettes Review

Hello my beauties!

How are you? 

I hope you are well because Spring is here (along with the allergies..) which means Summer is getting closer! 

About a week ago a friend of mine, Maritina, came back from Manchester to spend Easter with her family in Greece. For me that was a great opportunity to order some of the famous Sleek Palettes that I long wanted!

So now I am a proud owner of a two of them. But let me show you!

1. Sleek i-Divine Au Naturel

This pallete is perfect as your anytime base colours. There are 8 matte and 4 shimmery eyeshadows. The first row is full with neautral colors, ideal for all-over base or for blending the strong color at the crease.

The second row are earthly dark colors such as brown, purple, olive green and black which are great for creating everyday smokey eyes with intensity you can build it up.

I have already tried almost all of them, always with a eye primer, and they are great! They are super pigmented, mostly the dark colors and they stay on pretty well and only after 4-5 hours you will start noticing a liiiitle creasing. But overall it is a great palette with colours you will definately need.

2. Sleek Divine Storm Palette

This is my favourite of the two Sleek palettes. There are 9 shimmery and 3 matte eyeshadows. The colors are much pigmented than the Au Naturel palette and the variety of makeup looks endless! The first row is more natural but strong shimmery and the second row is super pigmented and shimmery. I have used this palette more than the Au Naturel and I can already say that I love it!

I highly recommend the Sleek Palettes as they are of relly good quality and great value. 6.50 £ each.

Authentic Vintage Sunglasses!

Ελπίζω να είστε καλά γιατί σας έχω φανταστικά νέα.
Όλοι ξέρουμε πως η μόδα κάνει κύκλους και τάσεις που ακολουθούσαμε ως παιδιά, τις ξαναακολουθούμε πάλι ως ενήλικες και αυτό είναι κάτι που όλοι λατρεύουμε να κάνουμε γιατί μας γεμίζει νοσταλγία απο μια αληθινή, αυθεντική και ξεχωριστή περίοδο.
Αυτό είναι το γνωστό vintage style που όλοι κάπως το έχουμε επάνω μας. Ίσως ένα παλιό ρολόι του μπαμπά, μια τσάντα Chanel της μαμάς, σκουλαρίκια μαργαριτάρια με κλιπ της αγαπημένης μας θείας ή όπως στη περίπτωσή μας τέλεια vintage γυαλιά ηλίου και οράσεως από άλλη δεκαετία αλλά ταυτόχρονα τόσο μα τόσο μοντέρνα!

Να λοιπόν τι ανακάλυψα για εσάς.
Στο μαγαζί του Σπύρου πηγαίνω τα τελευταία 12 χρόνια για ότι αφορά στα μάτια μου.
Φακοί επαφής, γυαλιά οράσεως και γυαλιά ηλίου.
Πρίν από 2 μέρες πήγα για τους καθιερωμένους φακούς μου όταν παρατήρησα ένα τέεεελειο ζευγάρι γυαλιά ηλίου! Του λέω
"Είναι τέλεια! Φαίνονται πραγματικά vintage!"
Και η απάντησή του;;;
"Είναι πραγματικά vintage!"
"Τι εννοείς;"
"Εννοώ ότι αυτά τα γυαλιά είναι του 1989"

Απίστευτο!
Ο Σπύρος έκανε ανασκαφές σε κούτες και ντουλάπες που περιείχαν όλα εκείνα τα ζευγάρια γυαλιά απο τις δεκαετίες late 70's-80's-90's και έχει βγάλει στο φώς θησαυρούς.

Σας έχω μερικές φωτογραφίες για να δείτε περίπου τι εννοώ αν και αδικούνται τα γυαλιά σε αυτές!
Απο κοντά είναι ακόμη πιο νοσταλγικά αλλά ταυτόχρονα awesome!!
Και εννοείται πως αυτές οι φωτογραφίες είναι ένα πολύ μικρό δείγμα!
Σας αφήνω να θαυμάσετε λοιπόν και να τρέξετε να προλάβετε!

Πώς σας φαίνονται;
Θα μπορούσα να ανεβάσω και άλλες φωτογραφίες αλλά πραγματικά είναι ήδη άδικο!
Δε φαίνεται ούτε στο ελάχιστο πόσο awesome είναι αυτά τα γυαλιά.

Τέλος σας ενημέρωνω οτι όποιος σκελετός οράσεως σας αρέσει μπορεί πολύ εύκολα να μεταμορφωθεί σε ηλίου.

Make Up Palettes

Hello my beauties!

I hope you are well. 

Last night I got this idea for my next post after I have spent a long time trying to to find and seperate all the mono eyeshadows inside my beauty case. I had no idea they were so many!

I am sure you've been there. We go for a walk, pass outside a beauty store, we go inside and buy an eyeshadow that we "need" and we put it inside the beauty case. The next week, month this happens again! 

So we end up having all kind of colours in mono eyeshadows that we don't even remember we have because they are stuffed all together!!

Don't get me wrong. I love my eyeshadows but I would just wish I would gave every one of them the proper attention. And as I was thinking how I can do that, it just hit me!

Combo Eyeshadows!

Most beauty brands have beautiful eyeshadows palettes, combo eyeshadows in many colours and correct combinations making sure that you will have a complete look.

All you have to do is choose the brand of your choice and just make your life easier!

Just to show you what I mean I have some pictures ( most of them are on my wishlist!!!))

The beloved famous eyeshadow palette Naked by Urban Decay. I am in love with it....

It has glitterry eyeshadows and matte ones so you can create both natural and glam looks.

The gorgeous Collection Essentielle de Chanel limited edition. It is a Multi-Use Makeup Palette for Face-Eyes-Lips. There are 2 lipglosses, 1 lipcolour, 2 conceilers, 1 blush and 3 eyeshadows. 

What more would you need?

The very sweet Clinique Colour Surge Eye shadow Quad in Spice. It has the perfect colours for a natural morning look but you can create a fabulous smokey eye look as well!

 The super glittery The Body Shop Shimmer Cube Palette in Warm. Be the Queen of the night with these extra dazzling colours. They are well pigmented and crease resistant.

The -I want it and I 've got to have it- Sleek Divine Palette in Acid-I for those days that you want to make  one step forward with your makeup. For those days that you want to make a statement. For just those days that you wanna Acid-Rock It!!

Πριν από λίγο καιρό η AngelMary απο το beauty blog Touch of Rouge,  http://atouchofrouge.blogspot.com, με προσκάλεσε να αποκαλύψω τα περιεχόμενα της τσάντας μου και αφού είμαστε, κυρίως, μεταξύ κοριτσιών θα το κάνω με χαρά!

Clinique Μακιγιάζ 2012

Hello my beauties!

Εύχομαι να είστε καλά, υγιείς και όμορφοι.

Λοιπόν, πρίν από λίγες μέρες η Clinique μου έστειλε ενημερωτικό δελτίο για τη νέα συλλογή Μακιγιάζ Άνοιξη 2012 και είπα να τη μοιραστώ μαζί σας. 
Προσωπικά χρησιμοποιώ προιόντα Cinique αρκετά χρόνια και έχω παρατηρήσει πως το μακιγιάζ τους είναι πολύ καλό. Λατρεύω τα lip gloss τους ( ειδικά το kissy fit!) και οι σκιές τους έχουν πολύ καλή διάρκεια. Επίσης η μάσκαρα High Impact είναι από τις πιο ωραίες για καθαρό και ταυτόχρονα έντονο αποτέλεσμα. 

Νομίζω ξέφυγα από το θέμα ομως! Ορίστε λοιπόν σας παρουσιάζω τη νέα συλλογή Clinique Μακιγιάζ Άνοιξη 2012, η οποία όπως θα δείτε στο face chart επικεντρώνεται στην έντονη μάσκαρα, ροδαλά μάγουλα και ζουμερά χείλη. Προσωπικά λατρεύω αυτό το look! Ειδικά για άνοιξη και καλοκαίρι.

Ξεκινώντας με το moisture surge tinted moisturiser καλύπτετε απαλά την επιδερμίδα σας χωρίς να τη βαραίνετε, καθώς όπως είμαι σίγουρη ξέρετε, τα tinted moisturisers είναι περισσότερο ενυδατικά και λιγότερο καλύπτικά. Βέβαια λόγω της σύνθεσής τους καλό είναι τα λιπαρά δέρματα να τη δοκιμάσουν πριν την αγοράσουν. Το συγκεκριμένο έχει SPF15 το οποίο είναι απαραίτητο για τις πρώτες αχτίδες του ήλιου την άνοιξη. Η τιμή του είναι 30,90 €.

Συνεχίζουμε με τη μάσκαρα Naturally Glossy Mascara η οποία βγαίνει μόνο στο χρώμα Jet Black και αν κρίνω απο το βουρτσάκι θα απογειώσει τις βλεφαρίδες μας. Όπως σας είπα πριν είμαι fan της High Impact Mascara της Clιnique και δε περιμένω να με απογοητευσει τώρα. Η τιμή του είναι 23,90 €.

Και τώρα στη τελευταία μου ανακάλυψη και κόλλημα! τα creme blushes! απο τη στιγμή που τα ανακάλυψα δύσκυλα γυρνάω στα powder blushes του νεσεσέρ μου (εκτός και αν είναι πολύ αγαπημένα). Τα creme blushes δίνουν χρώμα στα μάγουλα χωρίς να φαίνεται οτι φοράτε και χωρίς να είναι matte. 

Η Clinique λοιπόν έβγαλε και αυτή ένα νέο creme blush σε πολύ βολική, μπορώ να πω, stick συσκευασία. Το Blushwear Creme stick. Μπορείτε να το βάζετε κατευθείαν στα μήλα σας και μετά με τα δάχτυλά σας να το απλώνετε. Βγαίνει σε 4 αποχρώσεις. Rosy blush, Peach blush, Shy blush και Black honey και η τιμή του είναι περίπου 30.90€.

And last but not least, έχουμε τα νέα κραγιόν, Almost Lipstick, σε stick συσκευασία, τα οποία δεν είναι ούτε κραγιόν αλλά ούτε και lipgloss. Δίνουν ένα φυσικό χρώμα με τη λάμψη ενός lipgloss. Βγαίνει σε 7 αποχρώσεις και η τιμή του ειναι 21,90€.

Αυτά είναι λοιπόν τα νέα προιόντα μακιγιάζ απο τη Clinique. Το ξέρω οτι δεν έκανα προσωπική εκτίμιση αλλά ήθελα πολύ να σας τα δείξω. 
Όμως υπόσχομαι να τα δοκιμάσω σύντομα και να σας δείξω το review μου!
